Go to NAGOYA

Nagoya is one of Japan's major cities, often spoken of alongside Tokyo and Osaka.

Skipping this city and heading straight to your next destination would be a waste.

Nagoya has a unique culture you will not find in other Japanese cities.

That culture is called "Nagoya Meshi."

Spend three nights and four days here, and experience the best of Nagoya.

4 Must-Visit Spots in Nagoya

① Ghibli Park

A park where you can step into the world of Studio Ghibli.

Areas such as Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, and Dondoko Forest recreate the atmosphere of Studio Ghibli stories.

A place where both children and adults can lose themselves in the experience.

② LEGOLAND Japan Resort

An outdoor theme park designed for children from around age two and up.

Enjoy LEGO-themed attractions and impressive miniature cityscapes built with LEGO bricks.

A very popular spot for family trips.

③ Nagoya City Science Museum

A science museum with one of the world's largest planetariums.

The many hands-on exhibits make it fun for both children and adults.

A reliable place to enjoy even on rainy days.

④ Osu Shopping Arcade

A huge shopping arcade where anime, PCs, games, cosplay, and shrines all mix together.

Street food, shopping, and entertainment are packed into one of Nagoya's most colorful culture spots.

Most of the area is covered by an arcade, so rain is not a problem.

3 Must-Try Nagoya Meshi Dishes

[Yabaton | Miso Katsu]

A signature soul food of Nagoya.

The rich, sweet miso sauce is seriously addictive.

Founded in 1947, Yabaton is known as one of the original miso katsu restaurants.

It remains a beloved local favorite today.

[Misen | Taiwan Ramen]

Taiwan ramen was born in Nagoya, and despite the name, it is not a dish you will find in Taiwan.

The broth packs a punch with garlic and chili, creating a flavor you will not forget after one bowl.

This is a Nagoya Meshi dish we especially want visitors from Taiwan and China to try.

[Okafuji | Hitsumabushi]

Japan has many eel dishes, but if you want to enjoy hitsumabushi, Nagoya is the place to do it.

Okafuji is a well-known restaurant where you can fully enjoy Nagoya-style eel.

Try the fragrant grilled eel as it is, then with condiments, and finally with broth. This is the host's top recommendation.
